Members' Bios

After founding and subsequently leaving the internationally known Crüxshadows, (1992 - 1997) Tim spent his time studying the craft of music production.

From 2002 - 2004, taking on the role of producer, he developed Girls on Film into a now nationally performing/recording act. In 2004, he aided ex-Crüxshadow Stacey Campbell in establishing her act, Spider Lilies, by producing two tracks, "Read Your Mind" and "Within," which appear on the "Into the Light" CD.

He has since been focused on establishing Sapphire Rebellion as a national act, and has been actively touring the east coast.

Joined the Band October 2009

Born in a Boston suburb July 15, 1978. As part of a family containing a long line of Drum Corps members, it was only natural that Jay too would take part in the tradition. At the young age of 10, Jay joined The Boston Crusaders. After many years performing and touring with the Crusaders, Jay's Drumming was in high demand. He has played in many local Hardcore, Punk, and Industrial bands, as well as being a Percussion Educator in the New England Area.

Jay moved to Tampa, Florida in 2005 to take on an Assitant Director job for a local Drum Corps. He also served as Percussion Instructor for Coutnryside High. Under his direction the Countryside Percussion Department excelled in State and National Competitions.

In 2007 Jay moved to Tallahassee, where he taught at Leon High and conducted private drum lessons. In 2008, Jay met Tim Curry at a local hangout favored by both. After multiple discussions concerning music production, Jay was asked to join Sapphire Rebellion in April 2008.
